SEATING, WHEELCHAIR PRESCRIPTION AND PRESSURE CARE

Comfort, good spinal support and skin care are important for people who sit for long periods of time. 

O.T.WEST specialises in finding seating solutions to ensure comfort, improve function and prevent complications that result from poor posture. Our Occupational Therapists will provide a comprehensive assessment and equipment prescription to prevent and manage pressure ulcers. This is critical to the ongoing care of clients with an impaired ability to reposition themselves, or whose activity is limited to bed, chairs or wheelchairs.

O.T.WEST liaises with seating and equipment providers to attend to our client’s seating and pressure care needs.
